Allows testing of printed circuit boards without the cost and time required to build test fixtures or mechanical adapters. The system utilizes test probes that simultaneously apply the stimuli and perform the measurements needed.

IEEE-1149.1 boundary-scan JTAG testing

An integrated method for testing interconnects on printed circuit boards that is implemented at the IC level. Includes JTAG in-system programming of flash memories and CPLDs, JTAG emulation and debugging.
